program expenses. Our goal is to give our members the
opportunity to support the causes closest to their heart. If you

Action Against
Hunger
Recognized worldwide as a
leader in the fight against hunger, Action Against Hunger
delivers programs in over 40 countries, specializing in
emergency situations of war, conflict, and natural disasters and
longer-term assistance to people in distress.
AAA
Foundation for Traffic Safety
The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety is dedicated to saving
lives and reducing injuries on the roads. Since 1947, the
Foundation has funded over 110 research projects designed to
discover the causes of traffic crashes, prevent them, and
minimize injuries when they do occur. This research has been
used to develop dozens of focused, high-impact educational
materials for drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists and other road
users.
Oxfam International
Oxfam International is a confederation of 12 organizations
working together with over 3,000 partners in more than 100
countries to find lasting solutions to poverty, suffering and
injustice.
With many of the causes of poverty global in nature, the 12
affiliate members of Oxfam International believe they can
achieve greater impact through their collective efforts.
Oxfam strives to be a global campaigning force promoting the
awareness and motivation that comes with global citizenship
while seeking to shift public opinion in order to make equity
the same priority as economic growth.
American Red Cross
Founded in 1881, the American Red Cross is where people mobilize
to help their neighbors in emergencies. Each year, in
communities large and small, victims of some 70,000 disasters
turn to the nearly one million volunteers and 35,000 employees
of the Red Cross. Some four million people give blood through
the Red Cross, making it the largest supplier of blood and blood
products in the United States. As part of the International Red
Cross and Red Crescent Movement, a global network of 181
national societies, the Red Cross helps restore hope and dignity
to the world's most vulnerable people.
Appalachian Mountain Club
The Appalachian Mountain Club is America's oldest conservation
and recreation organization. The club's goal is to promote the
protection, enjoyment, and wise use of the mountains, rivers,
and trails of the Appalachian region based on the belief that
the mountains and rivers have an intrinsic worth and also
provide recreational opportunity, spiritual renewal, and
ecological and economic health for the region. Through
conservation, education, and recreation, Appalachian Mountain
Club encourages people to enjoy and appreciate the natural
world.
Earthwatch Institute
Founded in 1972, Earthwatch Institute is an international
organization that engages people worldwide in scientific field
research and education to promote the understanding and action
necessary for a sustainable environment, based on the belief
that decision-making involving these issues not only requires
objective scientific data from the field, but must engage the
general public through active participation in the scientific
process if it is to become widely accepted and effective. This
is accomplished through three primary objectives: research,
education, and conservation. The Institute acts as a unique
catalyst and a liaison between the scientific community,
conservation and environmental organizations, policy makers,
business, and the general public.
Breast Cancer Action
In 1990 the Breast Cancer Action (BCA) was formed as a
grassroots organization of breast cancer survivors and their
supporters. BCA carries the voices of people affected by breast
cancer to inspire and compel the changes necessary to end the
breast cancer epidemic. BCA is a grassroots group: ordinary
people who, by educating themselves on the facts and the issues
related to breast cancer, have empowered themselves and others
to create needed change. BCA works with other breast cancer
organizations to bring about important legislative changes on
both the state and federal level.
Tree Canada Foundation
Tree Canada is a charitable organization which partners with
local volunteers to improve quality of life by planting and
caring for trees. In your neighborhoods, schoolyards, parks and
in the countryside, Tree Canada leaves a living, breathing
legacy for generations to come.
Cats Protection UK
Formed in 1927, Cats Protection (CP) has grown to become the
UK's leading feline welfare charity. CP now rescues and finds
new homes for around 60,000 cats and kittens every year, through
a network of 29 Adoption Centers and 260 voluntary-run Branches.
CP also provides an array of
cat care
information, promote the benefits of neutering for a
happier pet and distribute
education
packs to a third of schools in the UK .
